Mini Rite Aid Haul

Hey Everyone!! Ok first I know you like what two entries in a week…yes I thought I would give y’all a little treat and give you more of RAPUNZEL *Strikes A Fierce Pose* lol Second I know your like wait you just said you wasn’t buying nothing till June *Hands Up* WAIT before your ready to burn me at the stake…look at the picture…that aint but 4 things and they are so small tiny itty bitty they can’t hardly count…can they *Tries To Look Convincing * I also have a very good reason for buying the items I bout.  I was watching a Youtube video by NitraaB and she had done this “Aqua Smoke” look and when I say it is soooooo HOT! I have to recreate ASAP.  But one of the colors she used was MAC “Club”. I don’t have that color nor did I want to spend $15.00 for a MAC eyeshadow so I looked for dupe of it.   The one everyone was saying that was closest to it was the last eyeshadow (Second Row Last One) in the Wet N’ Wild 8 Color Colorion Palette in 738 “Comfort Zone” so you know your girl scurried right on out to get it.  Now usually I go to the good Walgreen's to get some of my make up…only cause it’s closer to my work and I will go on my lunch or after work.  So I run up in there and don’t you know they was sold out *Rolls Eyes & Smacks Lips* so I was on a mission for this color. So I was like let me hit up old faithful “Rite Aid”.  Went up in there and there she was just waiting for me *Bust Out The Happy Dance* and to top it off they was having a 50% off sale on ALL Wet N’ Wild products *Bump A Happy Dance Bust Out The Shout* so that’s why I felt like I could pick a few, few, few more items.  I also got a Wet N’ Wild Shimmer Single Eyeshadow in 302 “Platinum” and a Single Eyeshadow in 255C “Panther”.  Lastly, ok this was kinda an impulse buy cause I aint need it but it was cute *SMH* but I got the Wet N’ Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in 863 “Turquoise” I don’t have one so I thought lets try it.  Did I mention that it was all 50% off???  So I suggest y’all scurry on down to your nearest Ride Aid and get you a couple items too while the sale is going on Lol.  Plus I feel like I saved money cause I could have gone and got the MAC shadow for $15.00 but instead I got all these shades for way less.  *Tapes Temple* I calls that using your thinker lol.  So, that’s my little mini haul if you want to even call it that.  I can’t wait to do the look.  It was so banging hot! I just hope I can make it come close to looking like hers when I do it *Crosses Fingers*.  We shall see.  Now, I did break down a little bit and I bought me a bracelet off Haultlook.com.   It's soooo cute  I had to have it. There's a picture below.

Now you can't sit here and tell me that aint the best!! Can't wait for it to come I got a shirt already picked out to wear it with.  They had  different colors like red, blue, and brown but I thought the black was the cutiest and it was only $19.00 regularly $60.00 *Looks Sideways* you already know your girl wasn't gonna pay $60.00.  So when it comes you know I am gonna take a picture with me sporting it so y'all can really see.  Well that's all I got for now...Oh I would like to give a shout out to one of my BFFs and probably my only reader lol "Black Butterfly" Hey Girl!!! Leaves

Hey Everyone! See I am doing better two weeks in a row *Snaps Fingers* told y'all I was gonna do better.  Anyways today’s look is “Leaves” I know your thinking where did that name come from but the look just looked real fallish when the leaves turn colors cause you got some golds and greens in there so there you have it “Leaves”.  So, I also know your wondering what is the deal with the hat.  I had to go to a tea that day and you had to wear a hat…well I aint have no hat but my mother had this which is a headband that looks like a hat so there you have it.  I even came in second place in the best hat contest *curtsy  and blows kisses* so that’s the story behind the headband/hat.  Now on to what I am sure you want to know the actual make-up look.   I got this off a tutorial on YouTube and I really can’t remember who it was but shout out anyways.  I used my Costal Scents Warm Palette and my NYX Jumbo Pencils in Gold and Lemon.  The colors are Golds (4 Across & 4 Down and 8 Across and 7 Down), Green (3 Across & 6 Down), Mixed Plum (9 Across & 3,4,7 Down), Deep Plum (9 Across & 8 Down), and Charcoal (1 Across & 8 Down).  Put the Jumbo Pencil in Gold on the first half of the lid and the Lemon Jumbo Pencil on the second and third part of the lid.  Put the Golds over top of the Gold Jumbo Pencil.  Put the Green on the second third of the eye and the Mixed Plums on the outer third of the lid.  Next Deep Plum in the crease and above.  Then Charcoal in the outer crease and blend everything together.  Finish everything with a hightlight color I picked my BFF that I use 90% of the time M.A.C. Ricepaper but you can use whatever color you like or looks good.  There you have it “Leaves” I think she called it something else on YouTube but I think this name fits better plus I tweaked it a little so that’s not exactly what she did.  But, sometimes you have to make stuff work for your eyes because everybody doesn’t have the same eye shape.  I think however that it came out very well.  So grab you a palette and get to workin it out. Lol.  I would love to do a haul for you all but I have put my self on a strict strict strict strict strict STRICT no buying anything till the middle of June *passes out on the floor* I know I know. But, I was spending like a rock star during February and March and tried to justify it with the birthday being in March *SMH* then the bills came and God said that is not so.  Therefore I had to put my own self on restriction LOL.  I have bought a few things BUT they were not for me they were for someone else so I’ve done really good.  I did buy a shirt at Target the other day BUT it was a medium and it fit!!!!!  Trust me when I say that is a first your girl so it aint matter what it cost it was going in the buggy and it was going home with me!!!  So hopefully when my restriction is lifted I will have a few hauls to show y'all.  Well I have some things to finish before I hit the hay so hope y'all had a good weekend and can endure the week. Ruffled Feathers

Hey Everyone! Ok, I have been MIA but I have a good excuse this time. My computer has had a spirit so therefore it’s bout impossible to get on the Internet let alone download the pictures and write the blog.  But I didn’t want to let my two readers down *blows y'all kisses*  lol. So I have to use another computer till we can get mine back in it’s right mind.  So now that we got the preliminary stuff out the way. *wipes brow*  Let’s get into this look.  So, first I know your like why is it called “Ruffled Feathers” well the blue shirt that I wore with it had these cute ruffles on the shoulders so I thought Ruffled Feathers.  I also got the color idea from Bitchin Kitchen which is a cooking show that comes on the Food Network and each week they have a different color scheme so the week I wore this the colors were purple, blue, and red and I thought to myself *deep in thought* that could work.  I used the ELF 100 Eyeshadow Palette for the colors but I added a lil purple from the Sleek Circus Palette.  First the Red then the Blue and end with the Purple and blend the colors in the crease and there you have it.  Very simple and easy I like it a lot and can’t wait to wear it again.  Now for some of you it may be a bit much and you might have to work your way up to this cause it is kinda bam in your face.  However that’s just me. Lol   I am not sure what the next look is gonna be but *flippin threw my different looks* I am sure I can come up with something.  I am gonna do better I promise *bits lip with a worried look on face* yea yea I can do it I am gonna do better. It's Not Bad Plad...It's Rad Plaid

Hey Everyone!! Well this Look of the Week was inspired by this shirt you all see. I called it Rad Plaid cause it has a plaid print. I got the shirt from the good Wal-Mart *Two Thumbs Up For Wal-Mart* now if they could get more people on registers they would be doin big things lol. Anyways I wore this shirt to church last Sunday with some black pants and a black sweater (very cute). I sat down to do my make up and I was like I wanna do something different that I haven't done before. Now mind you I had an hour to come up with something and if things went completely left there would be no time to fix it. So I was like what colors do I have to work with...I knew I wanted to do the Turquoise color and the Purples and Pink. So I ended up using my Sleek Palette in Circus for the Purple, Pink, and Fuchsia colors. Then I used the NK HD Eyeshadows in Turquoise and Black. I started with Pink in the inner half of the eye and then I was like it's too pink so I came in with the Fuchsia over top and it gave me the look I was lookin for. Then I put the Turquoise color on the outer half of the eye. Next I put the lightest Purple in the crease and above the crease. Then I put the dark Purple just in the crease. Finally I finished her off with black right at the outer corner and crease and blended everything till I couldn't blend anymore. I think it looks just like the shirt which is the look I was going for. What yall think is this a hit or miss???? Let me know your thoughts. I have no idea what we are going to do next but I can guarantee it's gonna be HOT! Have a great weekend. Smooches Rapunzel.

I Am Still Alive Why U Mad

Hey Everyone!!! Yes it's your girl Rapunzel *Lookin Like Do We Know You* I know I fell off and I said I was gonna do better for 2012. However, I have been busy and haven't had time to write. Then to top it off I didn't have a thang to talk about *Lookin Like Girl Yea Right* but for reals I had nothin to say. I really still don't but I thought I should at least get on here and say somethin. So, this may turn into just a random ramble so please bear with a sista. On a happier note I have been doin good with updatin the looks of the week tho *Pattin Myself On The Back* This week is "Why U Mad" *Looks Confused* I know your like where did the name come from but it's my take on the look Nicki Minaj had in the Why U Mad video with Birdman and Lil Wayne so that's where the name came from. I got the look from the tutorial that "TheUrbanSweetheart" did on Youtube. It really was easy it's just a bright orange shade on the lid and then some browns in the crease. The hardest part was finding the right orange shade. I had like 3 to pick from but ended up using a NYX shadow. Now mind you in the video she had on some white leotard thang that looked like bandages or somethin and your girl aint hardly gonna be struttin out lookin like the Mummy Bride. So, I had on green pants and and orange shirt and topped it off with a multicolor tame that was made by "Creations By Jodi" that's my Mamma Yall *Two Snaps For Jodi* Now in the picture my lips look just glossy *Smacks Lips: Like You Just Smashed Some Chicken Girl* but they are a pinky color. I think that's about all I have to say guys. I have a couple more Nicki Minaj looks that I do. One is the Hello Good Morning Video that she did with Diddy. That's one of my go to looks right there. Happy New Year

Hey!! Ok I know your like girl you way late on the New Year greeting but I have been busy and I didn't have time to write or even change my "Look of the Week" Picture. So, I don't really do New Year resolutions. I do however do "Do Betters" so this year's "Do Better" are 1. Not to buy as much stuff on the Internet i.e. mostly make up cause you know that can get outta control real quick. 2. Be better with saving money cause I feel like sometimes I be spending like I am a Rock Star *looking sideways* and I sure AINT!!. 3. Not to use my credit card as much. However, if I stop buying stuff off the Internet they will cancel each other out right??? *Looking Skeptical* Well I think that's all the "Do Betters" that I can handle at the moment so we will see what we can do with those.
